Amazon Prime gaming gives Battlefield I and V games for free this season
Amazon Prime Gaming has offered its subscribers a chance to try on the new Battlefield 1 from now till August 4. Battlefield V will follow suit from August 2 through till October 1. Its prime members can access this by redeeming the keys in the Origin desktop or web clients.
The Battlefield 1 gameplay takes after World War 1, while Battlefield V takes after World War 2. It includes campaign and multiplayer modes with Firestorm battle royale
There has been a collaboration between Amazon and Electronic Arts (EA) to make the Battlefield title available. A similar event occurred last year when Amazon made Battlefield 3 free to download during its Prime day. This year, it was Battlefield 4 that was released, free to download during Prime Day. It could be speculated that EA is using this to raise expectations towards the release of Battlefield 2042 by October 22 this year.
Are you interested in accessing the game? Simply log in to your prime gaming account if you have one and lay claim to the loot. You will be given a code that can be redeemed in your origin account using the Origin website or via a desktop PC.
If you love to get access to the game but do not have a Prime account, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial and still claim the loot on the condition that you reside in an eligible country or territory.
It is even more exciting to know that your progress during the free play time can be transferred when you eventually decide to buy the game. Up until August 4, the game would be available for $5. You could get it for an even lower price at third-party stores for a much lower price.
