Among Us is a 2018 social deduction game developed and published by Innersloth. It is a game for two teams: among Us and among Them. Among Us, the Crewmates, must identify the among Them, Impostors, and complete tasks around the map.

Among Them, the Impostors, are trying to sabotage and kill the Crewmates before they complete all of their tasks. The Crewmates win if all Impostors are ejected or all tasks are completed, whereas the Impostors win if there is an equal number of Impostors and Crewmates, or if a critical sabotage goes unresolved.

Gameplay

The game features a space-themed setting, which is a refreshing change from the usual earth-bound themes. Players are either Crewmates or Impostors. Crewmates' goal is to identify and eliminate the Impostors, and complete tasks around the map. The game is played by 2-4 players. Each turn consists of two phases: first, the player selects a card from the cards available to them, and then they may perform a single action consisting of buying, selling, haggling, or trading. Certain cards give the players a special ability. The game is over when one player has bought out the other players, or when one player dies.

Graphics

The graphics of the game are space-themed and take place on a map. The game is not entirely visual, but the graphics are not bad.

Information about replayability

After the first map, there are three other maps that are offered. The maps are The Skeld, MIRA HQ, Polus and The Airship. The Airship is based on another game that Innersloth has developed.

Conclusion

The game is interesting, but it is not very appealing to most people. The game is not very well-known, and it is very similar to other games. There are some technical issues.
